In 2011, MES has projected the supply, installation and commissioning of electromechanical and hydromechanical equipment for 51 bore wells within the scope of the project „Groundwater level drawdown in Oued Saf“ on behalf of the Algerian authority Office National de l‘Assainissement“ (ONA). The contract had been awarded to MECSAL, the subsidiary of MES in Algeria.
In 2016, MES has signed a contract with its Iranian partner Sazeh Sazan for a seawater desalination plant with a daily capacity of 200.000 m³. MES was responsible for the complete electrical, hydraulic and mechanical engineering for the whole process, i.e. DAF pretreatment, dual media gravity filtration, reverse osmosis system with two passes as well as remineralisation and posttreatment.
In the years 2012 - 2015, MES has successfully accomplished the engineering, supply, installation and commissioning of the hydromechanical, electromechanical and electrical (MV/LV and generating sets) equipment for several pumping stations and a pontoon in the dam reservoir with a daily capacity of 50.000 m³, several reservoirs and the telemetry supervision system.
